How much does it cost to rent a gimbal in Delhi?
Three gimbals, three price points. The DJI Ronin 4D rig is ₹4,500 per day — that is a complete 4-axis gimbal camera with the X9-6K head, ProRes RAW recording and wireless video TX built in, so there is no separate body to hire. The DJI RS4 Pro is ₹1,250 per day and the RS3 Pro ₹1,000 per day; both are 3-axis handheld gimbals rated to a 4.5 kg payload and carry a camera you already own or hire from us. Weekly rates run at roughly five times the day rate, and NCR delivery is not charged extra inside the ring-road cities.
DJI Ronin 4D or an RS4 Pro with my own camera — which should I book?
Take the Ronin 4D when one operator has to cover the day alone. Camera, gimbal, monitor, wireless video and focus are a single balanced object, so there is nothing to rebalance after a lens change and nothing to rig at call time. The catch is the mount: it is a DL-mount body and we ship it with native DL glass and the DJI EF adapter, so a PL prime set does not go on it. Take an RS4 Pro at ₹1,250 or an RS3 Pro at ₹1,000 when the look is already decided by your body and your glass — an FX3 on Sigma Cine FF Art, say — and the gimbal is only there to carry it. The mount question settles this more often than the price does.
Can I rent an ARRI Skypanel S60-C in Delhi NCR?
Yes. The Skypanel S60-C is ₹3,250 per day, delivered to set across Delhi NCR. It is a 60-inch RGBWW soft source, which is why it is on almost every commercial — full colour control and a large soft key out of one head. Very few rental houses in NCR keep one, so name your dates early rather than assuming it is on the shelf. It runs off mains: we supply the head, its power supply and the stand mount, not distro and not a generator.
What lights do you have on rent in Delhi?
ARRI Skypanel S60-C at ₹3,250 per day, Aputure LS 1200x Pro at ₹2,250, Aputure LS 600d Pro at ₹1,750 and the Nova P300c RGBWW panel at ₹1,250. The 1200x is bi-colour and is what we send when you need to punch through daylight or bounce a large soft source. The 600d is daylight-balanced and is the commercial-shoot default. The P300c is the full-spectrum panel for accents, colour washes and matching practicals. Everything on that list is LED — we do not carry HMI, tungsten, generators or distro, so if the plan needs an 18K and a genset, that part of the order has to come from elsewhere.
What camera will a DJI RS3 Pro or RS4 Pro carry?
Both are rated at 4.5 kg, and that figure covers the whole rig — body, lens, matte box, follow-focus motors, monitor, plate and cables, not just the camera. A Sony FX3, FX6, A7S III, FX30 or a RED Komodo with a prime sits inside it comfortably. An ARRI Alexa Mini LF is 2.6 kg of body alone, leaving under 2 kg for everything else, so a Supreme Prime plus a full matte box will not fit that budget. Send us the exact rig and we will tell you yes or no before the kit ships rather than after.
Do you rent wireless follow focus, monitors and video TX in Delhi?
Yes. Tilta Nucleus-M FIZ at ₹1,500 per day — wireless focus, iris and zoom, three-motor kit, 600m line of sight. DJI Focus Pro at ₹1,750 with LiDAR ranging for days when nobody on the crew is a dedicated puller. SmallHD Cine 7 with the Indie 7 at ₹1,000 for the pair: 1800 nits, ARRI camera control and 3D LUT loading, which is the monitor to book if the client is standing behind you. Atomos Shogun 7 HDR at ₹1,250 when you need a recorder as well as a monitor. Teradek Bolt 6 LT 750 at ₹2,000 for zero-delay wireless video, and the Ronford-Baker slider and jib at ₹1,750.
Do you deliver gimbals and lights to Gurgaon and Noida?
Yes, same day, at no extra charge inside the ring-road cities — Delhi, Gurgaon (Cyber City, Udyog Vihar, Golf Course Road), Noida and Greater Noida (Film City, Sector 62, the Expressway studios), Faridabad and Ghaziabad. West Delhi including Dwarka, Janakpuri, Rajouri Garden and Rohini is usually within a few hours. Karnal and Chandigarh run on 24-hour notice, Jharkhand on 12–24 hours, and anywhere else in India on insured air-cargo. One thing worth being straight about: we have no walk-in counter in Delhi. NCR orders are dispatched to your set or location, so a confirmed date and a real set address matter more here than they would at a shop.
Can I book an operator with the gimbal?
Yes. A camera operator is ₹4,000 per day, a focus puller ₹3,000 and a DIT ₹3,500. On a gimbal day the puller is the line to argue about rather than the operator — a moving camera on a wide-open prime is where focus goes wrong, and a Tilta Nucleus-M or DJI Focus Pro only helps if somebody is holding the hand unit. Dry rental is still the default: you get the kit, tested and cased, and crew is added only if you ask. Our operators have worked national campaigns including Policy Bazaar, Walkaroo and Vega.
What deposit and insurance apply to a gimbal or lighting rental?
A refundable security deposit is standard, typically 50–100% of the kit replacement value depending on the package and your rental history — the Ronin 4D and the Skypanel sit at the higher end. Bank transfer, UPI or an authorised credit-card hold, returned same day after return and inspection. Insurance is either your own production rider, for which we supply invoices and serial numbers, or our in-house cover at 2–4% of rental value per day. A 50% advance confirms the booking.
